Nandita Boger is a Swiss architect based in Vinelz, where she founded NAN Architektur GmbH in 2016. She worked as an architect in Berlin and gained experience as a project manager in the office of Herzog & de Meuron. Boger studied architecture at ETH Zurich and taught design theory at Bern University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2014.

A listed farmhouse, built around 1771, is to be remodeled for the needs of a young couple.
The client wanted to have various options checked: installation of a new bathroom, installation of a new kitchen, restoration of the original state with the smoke kitchen in the middle of the house, incorporation of the huge attic into the living room, a division of the house for several parties, separation of incorporation of a bed and breakfast, various access options and staircase variants.
Since it is a protected K object, the preservation of historical monuments had been included from the beginning.
